What a Day!

Tuesday is my busiest day - I teach all day, then hop in the car and head to Indianapolis to serve in the temple from 5:00 to 10:00 PM. An hour's drive home, and I fall into bed around 11:30, exhausted, but happy.

Last night we were driving home on 65 near Frankfort when we received a text from Lisa asking us to call her. Titan had been taken by ambulance to the hospital! Craig sped up the car and we headed to St. Elizabeth East instead of home as planned.

In October he'd been rushed to the hospital when he'd suddenly passed out. This time he was having difficulty breathing. The ambulance whisked him off without Jessica as she was home alone with Cambria, no car or car seats, and no one to stay with Cambria. Luckily, Curt and Lisa arrived just after the ambulance left, and Lisa stayed with Cambria while Curt drove Jessica to the hospital. We arrived about a half hour after that.
Little Man receives a chest x-ray.
He is such a mellow baby!

After the chest x-ray, I drove home to relieve Lisa so she could go home. Curt and Craig gave Titan a blessing, and Craig stayed and then drove Jessica and Titan home in my car which held the car seats.
Titan received an oral steroid for a walloping case of croup and was released and allowed to come home in the wee hours of the morning.

Jessica and her family have had quite a ride - four ER visits, three states, two surgical procedures, two overnight hospital stays, and two ambulance rides in two months!
