And... It's Up!

At last, our Christmas tree is up and decorated. 

It's been awaiting decorating since Monday night, but we have been so busy, we just got it done last night.

Lisa and Craig got the lights on while I unpacked the two tubs of ornaments. (We have more, but I don't put everything out anymore - there's just too many.)

Lots of old favorites go up like Superman and Zeus's ornament.

 And Duffy's red bone with his name in gold letters. ::sniff sniff::

And a real family favorite, the Star Trek Enterprise Shuttlecraft. I can just FEEL the Christmas spirit!!

A few new ones make the cut, too, like this pink octopus I got last year that I absolutely love.

All that's left to do is to hang the stockings by the fire. Oh, and for Todd, Sarah, JC, and Trinity to arrive, cookies to bake, pies to make, Christmas cards to address and send, some last minute gifts to get, vacuuming the house, mopping the floors, the spare bedrooms to prepare...
