Our Valentine Boxes

Our creative juices were flowing when we made our valentine boxes! We had beautifully decorated boxes that were the traditional type as well as some highly unusual ones.  Several of the children wanted theirs photographed - I was happy to oblige!

JK's valentine box did not need to be labeled with his name - we all recognize that face!

 SS fell in love with the classic Island of the Blue Dolphins and her box reflects that book.

 RP's valentine holder was hungry.

 CP used an oatmeal canister for his box.

 RR went for a traditional look.

 GCD showed us that Minions like valentines.

 Talk about puppy eyes! EW's puppy makes we want to give her extra chocolate!

 GH's Minecraft box made me think of chocolate.

 It was fun sliding our valentines down the trunk of AM's duct tape covered elephant.

HS incorporated his love of basketball into his box. (Yes, we all scored two points when we slid our valentines to him through the hoop.)

 JS was gone, so HS showed off his box for him. His family, like me, are huge Illini fans as his father is a University of Illinois alum.

 AY's penguin was all dressed up in red for Valentine's Day.

 GG's was also hungry - watch your fingers when you slip those valentines into its mouth!

I hadn't made a box, so they asked if they could take my picture with the orange basket I was planning to use.
